What is Your Purpose?

Transformation is about creating and implementing a habit or a series of habits that changes how you and others see you. Here’s an exercise, taken from Chapter 2 of Jack Canfield’s Best Seller “Success Principles” that transformed my daily method of operation because it has guided my actions based on my purpose. I have re-created this exercise with many, many clients and each has reported a transformation. Will it transform you in a small or significant way? You’ll only know if you do it.

Ready? Here it goes

  1. Write down your purpose as you now express it
  2. Watch the video below and do the exercise
  3. Write your purpose, whether it is the same or, based on the exercise, different from the original
  4. Write/type your purpose in a format you can post somewhere you will see it every day.
  5. Read your purpose first thing in the morning for one week
  6. Email your reflections on what this exercise has meant to you to: marty@topofmindguy.com
